Eichel Era Game One

One game, one goal. Jack strikes in the the third to get Buffalo on the board. A one inch offside call on a coach’s challenge denied the game tying goal by Evander Kane. The Sabres lose this one and goalie Robin Lehner to a freak injury. 

Plenty of choppy play marked the first two periods. Some excitement came in the third. Clearly face off performance must be improved. This will be a season of growth and there are no playoff expectations from this corner. Another top ten pick will only strengthen the rebuild and with this new lottery system there is a great chance to get a top 4 slot.
